Portable console released in 2011
This console started the Nintendo 3DS family of systems, which brought stereoscopic 3D visuals to players without the need for special glasses. Except for the Nintendo 2DS and New Nintendo 2DS XL systems, which opted to remove the feature.

New Nintendo 3DS
The New Nintendo 3DS is the first real upgrade model for the 3DS family, boasting several new features over its predecessors. The console now has a C-stick and two additional shoulder buttons (ZL and ZR), allowing for better camera control and more complex control schemes. The console also has super-stable 3D, using the front-facing camera to focus on the player's face, and adjusting the 3D based on the positioning of the face, reducing situations where people might see 3D blur. A more powerful CPU allows for more powerful N3DS-exclusive games to be played, such as "Xenoblade 3D", and HTML5 video playback when using the internet browser. This console also has the ability to swap out the faceplates on the physical body, allowing players to customise their console in a similar way to the Game Boy Micro.

microSD Card Adapter
The microSD card adapter is used to convert microSD cards such as KTR-011 and KTR-012 to an SD card. This allows you to use them with DSi models, older 3DS models or with a personal computer for backing up data. Not used with the New 3DS and New 3DS XL, which have a microSD card slot.
