Nintendo Switch Lite
A low-priced model of the Nintendo Switch that integrates the Nintendo Switch main console and controller into a more portable model. The screen size is small, the left/up/down/right buttons have been swapped with a directional-pad, but the motion IR camera and HD rumble have been removed, meaning an external controller is required to play games that use these functions. The Nintendo Switch dock is not included with the console and is not supported, meaning output to an external monitor or USB connection for controllers is not possible with the Switch Lite. The body shape is different, which prevents it from being compatible with the Nintendo Labo kits. Because there is no rail connector for Joy-Con, it is impossible to charge Joy-Con controllers and other compatible controllers, meaning it is also necessary to purchase charging-related solutions such as the Joy-Con Charging Grip.
