This version contains a unique set of more difficult courses but is otherwise identical.

The screen can now be toggled between the course map and course view, which allows for a much more detailed look at the course you're playing on. Mario and friends play golf in the Mushroom Kingdom for the first time. In addition to Tournament mode where you compete for the best score, there are many other modes to enjoy.
