Baseball


Sports series started in 1983


A series of games that aim to emulate the popular international sport, baseball, where batters must hit the baseball with all their might and dash to one of the four bases before the ball is caught by the opposing team. If you make it to the fourth base, you score a point. But if the opposing team catches the ball, or throws the ball to a base you're running towards, you're out!

A basic series of baseball games released for Nintendo's early consoles. The visuals are primitive but these games helped establish  how baseball is depicted and controlled in future videogames.


Ken Griffey Jr. Baseball


Sports series started in 1994


A series of baseball games created under the name of famous former Seattle Mariners player, Ken Griffey Jr., and with the license of the Major League Baseball. Due to this license, these games featured real stadiums, real teams and some real players, including Ken Griffey Jr..


Mario Baseball


Sports series started in 2005


A series of baseball games that feature characters and places from the "Mario" series. These games are well-known with Mario fans for their unusually large character rosters among other Mario spin-offs.
